The Park Edge Group was formed by Todd Kalish in 2014 at Morgan Stanley. In the fall of 2017, the group transitioned to McDonald Partners LLC where Todd holds the title of Managing Director. Todd has been providing investment advisory services to individuals and small to mid-market institutions since 1997 with a philosophy built on the four corners of investment consulting: policy development, asset allocation analysis, investment selection, and performance evaluation. His goal is to provide a disciplined approach that begins with a detailed analysis, and concludes with the implementation of a plan designed to achieve the client’s goals and objectives. While at Morgan Stanley, Todd held the title of Sr. Vice President, Sr. Institutional Consultant, and Sr. Family Wealth Advisor. In 2015, Todd was invited to participate in Morgan Stanley’s inaugural Family Wealth Management class where he earned the coveted “Family Wealth Management Designation” The year long course focused on consulting families concerning in-depth financial planning, wealth management & transition, and complex business transactions. Todd graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1993 and has spent his entire career in serving the needs of his clients. In addition, to providing clients advice, Todd is often an integral contributor to his clients’ boards, especially around employee benefits. He currently serves on the Cleveland Catholic Diocese CEET Board. Todd resides in Rocky River with his family and is an active member of St. Raphael Parish.
For over 20 years, Lisa has been servicing both institutional and individual clients in a variety of roles at KeyBank, Victory Capital Management and Morgan Stanley. She joined Park Edge Group in 2015 and transitioned with the team to McDonald Partners in 2017. With the Park Edge Group, she provides investment advisory services to both individuals, families and mid-level institutions with a special emphasis on financial planning. Lisa graduated from Miami University with a marketing degree. She later earned an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University with a focus in Finance and International Management. She is a holder of the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)® designation, which is the most rigorous certification for investment professionals, especially in the area of research and portfolio management and which holds charterholders to the highest ethical standards. She also serves on the boards of Lake Erie Ink and the Glen Eagles Golf Course. She and her husband live in Twinsburg with their three children.
John joined McDonald Partners, LLC as the Senior Portfolio Analyst for the Park Edge Group in October of 2017. After graduating from The University of Akron in 1999, John started his career as a financial advisor with The Millennial Group in Akron during the Spring of 2000. At the Millennial Group, John specialized in qualified plan rollover business, and built his practice by forming relationships with corporate retirees from local tire manufacturing companies. He joined Morgan Stanley in 2005 as a financial advisor, and earned his Financial Planning Specialist designation, where he served both institutional and individual clients up until the fall of 2017. John interacts with the Park Edge Group clientele, assisting them with all aspects of their respective financial picture. He is instrumental in coordinating cohesiveness with the rest of the team, to ensure that our clients feel a sense of control over their financial destination. John is actively involved in his community where he volunteers as a Cub Scout Packmaster, a Director in the Slovak Catholic Sokol, and with the Bay Village Men’s Club. John is married to his wife Kelly and has two sons. They reside in Bay Village and belong to St. Raphael’s Catholic Parish.
Genevieve has worked in the financial services industry for more than 25 years. Her financial services background started at McDonald & Company Securities, where she worked for 18 years; 12 years of which were in the Retirement Plan Services Department. Her key strength is her knowledge of the 401(k) marketplace. She was responsible for McDonald's 401(k) product due diligence and developed a keen eye for identifying provider strengths and weaknesses. Her other experience includes sales support, compliance, mutual fund expertise, and database development and management. Genevieve earned the Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist Certification, holds a Series 7 Securities license and is a Notary Public.
Tom has over 15 years experience in the securities industry. He has been involved with developing strategic asset allocation programs for institutional clients such as Foundations, Endowments, ERISA Plans and high net worth individuals. Tom was also instrumental in developing and implementing an Investment Consulting Process to over 500 financial advisors at his previous employer, McDonald Investments. This process encompassed current portfolio analysis, optimal portfolio development, investment policy creation and investment program implementation and monitoring. Tom successfully completed the Center for Fiduciary Studies Certification course, earning the designation of Accredited Investment Fiduciary Auditor (AIF). He was a member of the Mutual Fund Due Diligence committee and was the chairperson of the Managed Assets Group Investment Committee at McDonald Investments. Tom has earned the Series 7, 9, 10, 24, 31 and 66 licenses.
