About Us

The Park Edge Group at McDonald Partners has been serving institutional and individual clients for over 20 years.  During that time, we have helped our clients navigate through some of the very best and worst financial markets.  We have witnessed great changes in the investment process and servicing needs of our clients.  The one constant is change, and it’s necessary to continue to adapt and anticipate the future.

Park Edge Group spends a great deal of time educating ourselves on the future trends that will impact what and how we service our clients.  We know that clients expect a service model that is robust, and flexible.

Today’s clients are changing what they want and how they want it delivered.  Technology has had a disproportionate impact on our industry.  With information changing hands at lightning speed and low-cost investment products, traditional investment management is becoming more commoditized.  Advisers must increase their knowledge base and be able to deliver value in a multitude of ways beyond traditional investment management which includes financial planning, family transition, business valuation, generational consulting, philanthropic planning and many other aspects of the clients’ financial picture.  Clients want a “trusted adviser.”

Over the last decade, we've seen a move toward smaller, more flexible firms.  Clients prefer financial advisors that offer customized fee-based investment solutions.  Park Edge Group's affiliation with McDonald Partners helps implement this approach to investing.  As a registered investment adviser (RIA), McDonald Partners is held to a fiduciary standard that requires them to put their clients' interests above their own.  Coupled with our joint affiliation with the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), Park Edge Group is uniquely positioned to offer similar products and services as the larger banks, yet deliver efficient flexibility that clients desire.

Our process is designed to put the clients' needs first—the journey begins with financial planning.  We believe financial planning is both the cornerstone and blueprint for long-term success.  Our group is better positioned today than ever before to be your adviser.  By having both a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) and a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) on staff, we believe we are qualified to serve the sophisticated needs of our clients.  Armed with an independent approach, we can be your adviser and put your future first.
